Elon Musk has reportedly procured 10,000 graphics processing units for a new artificial intelligence initiative that incorporates a sizable language model (LLM), similar to ChatGPT. Previously, OpenAI accessed Twitter for ChatGPT training purposes until Musk found out and put a stop to it. Additionally, Twitter recently hired two engineers from Alphabet’s AI-research organization, indicating continued investment in AI research and development.

Meanwhile, OpenAI has launched a Bug Bounty program, offering rewards of up to $20,000 for identifying vulnerabilities in its AI systems.

Meta AI has also launched its Segment Anything Model, using AI to automatically segment and label objects in images and videos, and The National Telecommunications and Information Administration wants to know what policies should shape the AI accountability ecosystem, and are calling for comments on AI policies.
